How would BJP help Rahul Gandhi to become relevant?

In 2014,Indian National Congress hit a new low-44 Member of Lok Sabha and today in 2017 it rules only 5 states with strong chances of losing another one in December. Many would feel that with shrinking base and weak leadership ,Congress would go down further and BJP upwards.

Indian politics is not purely based on logic. Public perception of a party's arrogance, unkept promises and policy failures decide who will go up or come down. BJP was known to be a party of small traders but in last 3 years perception has changed .Now it is perceived as party for rich business houses like Reliance, Adnani's etc. This has further got strengthened due to demonetization and GST implementation.

Indian farming is reeling under debt stress and farming is becoming financially unviable due to increase in input cost of fertilizers & pesticides .The increase in crop pricing does not cover the increase in input costs. Each farmer and his family aspires for better living standard and yearns for basic luxuries.Inability to provide these to their family, leads to diversion of crop/tractor loans to other non productive expenses. When they are unable to pay their loans and all wealth diminishes, they resort to suicides. Rural India is rapidly becoming uncomfortable with BJP and would be one element of their downfall.

The large middle class faces high food stuff prices. This is due to the hoarding and cartelization  by the middlemen.Every year Government fails miserably to asses production downtrends due to adverse weather conditions incase of Pulses and basic vegetables like Potatoes,Onions and tomatoes. As a knee jerk reaction they source these items from abroad .By the time shipment arrives,Indian crop also becomes available.Since supply exceeds demand, the domestic prices go for a free fall leading to famer selling under duress and hence unable to meet his input costs.

Corruption of ruling party is hidden due to media control through selective distribution of advertisement and Rajya Sabha seats and other allurements to the media houses /journalists.Yet the skeletons have a unique ability to tumble out over time.In the next two years many would start coming out and so called honest government would look stained and bruised.

The largest young population in world could easily become a headache for BJP.Far too less jobs and stressed economy would result into huge discontentment and can easily topple any Government. Taking Japan's help would only meet a miniscule requirement. Unless labour intensive manufacturing steps up,the employment figures would become very scary.

Majority of Hindu's are peace loving and not fundamentalists. They prefer to live in harmony. The controversy of beef ban is unnecessarily polarising the society and affecting farmers as they are getting deprived off financial support they get by selling unproductive milch animals for beef and skin.Coupled with stray and abandoned cattle destroying standing crops and causing road accidents, this beef ban will even turn non-muslim population against BJP.

Does Rahul Gandhi have an answer to these issues? Most probably not.He merely needs to flag these issues as vociferously as he can and rest of the fodder will be provided by BJP itself. If he can strengthen social media and speak what his support people tell him to,he will become relevant. He would have one party to thank and that would be BJP.

All those who propelled BJP to power in 2014 will bring it down due to their arrogance and lack of talent to manage a diverse country like India.
